Embossing

Embossing is the process whereby we raise an image on a substrate to create a 3D effect. Combining an emboss with foil can create a stunning and appealing print finish.

Due to our vast experience and modern facilities, we are able to produce striking raised and textured dies to the highest standard. All our dies are produced in-house therefore, removing valuable time before the job commences.

Silver & Gold Hot Foil

Transform your print using an amazing range of gold and silver colours from light and bright to warm and rich shades, you’ll be surprised how many hues of gold and silver there are.

Our range of silver and gold hot foil also includes a vast selection of gloss, matt and satin shades. You can combine foil blocking with an emboss to create a beautiful foil emboss effect and bring any design to life.

Metallic hot foil

An incredible range of colours covering the whole spectrum can be sourced. Our metallic foil is suitable for most applications and you can request samples if needed.

Holographic Foil

Holographic technology offers amazing image possibilities with effects from stars to shards and bubbles to pillars, with a variety of colours too. Holographic foil not only adds an extra design element but also acts as a deterrent for counterfeiters. Due to the complex design and the ability to bespoke print a client’s design this type of foil is very hard to copy.

Diffraction Foil

We stock diffraction foil in various colours including gold, silver and bright red. Each is available in many designs from a standard reflective shine to pillars of light or a star effect. Holographic foil not only adds an extra design element but also acts as a deterrent for counterfeiters. Due to the complex design and the ability to bespoke print a client’s design this type of foil is very hard to copy.

Matt & Satin Foil

Where a specific colour is important, but a more subtle finish is appropriate our Matt & Satin foil finishes ooze elegance and sophistication It works great on a range of products, coupled with our glossier foils, a great embossing or debossing effect can be created to add depth and bring your design to life.

Pigment Foil

Pigment colouring simulates letterpress printing with the added bonus of hot foiling benefits. Pigment foil shines and can be used to embold lettering on book covers, food and drink packaging, and more. Pigment hot stamping foils comes in various shades including orange, red, blue, navy, green, brown, grey and black. You’re not limited to using just pigment foil, it can be great to use pigment foils in combination with our other foils, as most marry well together.

Clear Foil

Clear foils are very popular for highlighting aspects of print with sharp definition – a stylish alternative to Spot UV. Holotrans foils offers exciting see-through images in the foil itself. The gloss and matt finishes are similar to other foils, instead of course for the fact they are transparent. Holotrans foil is a glossy, reflective clear foil used when foiling over existing print to make the image or text ‘jump off the page’.

Security Foil

Our customer base contains some of the top security printers in the UK. Furthermore, we carry out all our security work in our adjoining secure unit. Only authorised personnel have access to the unit. Our security service is 100% confidential. The security division applies OVDs, as well as registered and wallpaper holograms onto banknotes, passport holograms, tax stamps, road licences, insurance documents, car logbooks, tickets, ID cards and other documents of value.
